Often, we are asked specifically about many of our popular historic communities, including Myers Park. Myers Park is one community that continuously stands the test of time where housing appreciation is concerned. Even as the city endured the Great Recession, Myers Park is one of the neighborhoods that didn’t feel the depth of depreciation/devaluation that many of the Charlotte neighborhoods experienced. Don’t get me wrong, every neighborhood in Charlotte, without exception, endured some level of depreciation but, a handful held their own with minimal losses and were very quick to rebound when the market turned to the positive.

Fast-forward to 2018 and the Myers Park real estate market is back to its normal state of HOT! Below is the current market snapshot of the Myers Park neighborhood. Year-to-date (2018 only), 63 single family homes have sold in the Myers Park neighborhood at a list price of $1,057,046 and a sales price of $1,038,433, with a 98% list-to-sales price. Homes in Myers Park average 66 days on the market thus far this year.

The Myers Park Charlotte housing inventory has been reduced drastically, as though it wasn’t low enough already! This is reflective of a strong sellers market. Low interest rates continue to drive buyers to the Myers Park neighborhood and other areas of higher appreciation in the Charlotte Metro region. Myers Park is currently at a 3.6 month inventory level.
