When it comes to convenience, this live/work community is ever-so desirable and the things to do here are limitless – living in SouthPark is truly a dream! Rest assured, you will never be lacking in something to do here in SouthPark.
Buyers love our community’s location in the city – we are truly what one would call ‘center city!’ Although our Uptown is widely known as ‘Center City,’ SouthPark offers an easy, 12-minute commute to Uptown as well as Ballantyne – yes, we are smack dab in the middle of the city! When it comes to commute time, this is a highly coveted South Charlotte address.
Recent sales have slowed a bit in our area but, that is primarily because inventory is down a whopping 30% year-over-year…and of course the month of January is typically a bit slower in our area. Some feel that there is a political undertone that has buyers hedging but, that’s truly not the case – we have buyers (plenty of them!), we just have an incredibly low inventory at the moment. We expect the market to stabilize a bit more as listings come into the market during the upcoming months.
As well, homeowners thinking of selling are simply not able to find their next home on the market so, they are patiently waiting until they find something and then, plan to list their homes. As a reminder to buyers though, interest rates and sales prices are increasing so, now is a primo time to buy! Stay tuned for more SouthPark listings coming on the market…
